I broke down and bought a couple of pairs of good-looking blue jeans in the size I am right now. I have pants that fit now, but they're more for yard work or very dressy. The jeans in my closet are too snug. I have some nice tops and a couple of women's sports jackets I can wear to dress up jeans, and I have several events coming up that I don't want to dress in a dress for. I'll be running around with a camera. There is a reason the photographer is a little scruffy, and it has to do with climbing around and having the ability to scramble around if necessary to get a shot. I'll compromise with the jacket over jeans.

Of course, I bought them at the thrift store. $11.25 for the two. I forgot about looking to see if there were any hankies. I'll make a point next time.
