Five boxes of un-needed canning and storage jars are sorted out and ready to go to the swap shop, along with two big boxes of cardboard to recycle. The jelly and wide-mouth jars we're keeping now fit into the cabinet in the attic over the kitchen.

Thinking about the apple head doll/dehydrator... If I cut slots in a few of my excess corks, I bet I could use them as spacers; allowing larger items to fit in the trays for drying. Or maybe spring clothespins would be more easily adjusted as well as more stable? Continuing to think outside of the parallelogram, I wonder if my spare dehydrator could be used as a dryer for the painted ornaments and miniature landscape brooches I plan to make? Hmmm...Thank you for the ideas!
