We had a couple of those kinds of rules around our house also.

No jumping off of the roof of the neighbor's garage (after my brother broke his ankle)

No grinding up sulphur you find by the railroad tracks (for some reason my brothers decided to grind it up in the basement and the dust gave all of us sick headaches)

Don't bring home any animals you find in tide pools at the beach. (Those buckets got ripe really fast)
