Gotta pick a bunch of eggplants and do something with them. I haven't picked them all week so I know I have a few approaching grocery store size.

It's the last weekend of the month and also time (in most of the U.S.) for Standard Time to kick in. I'll use this occasion to change the batteries in all of my smoke detectors (when I moved in here I had a couple and when I had a financial windfall a couple of winters ago I put in a smoke detector in each bedroom and the hall and they're the electric/DC variety. When one goes off they all go off and are deafening). It's time for the clock change so I have my batteries and will do it on Sunday.
