This is SUCH a minor "chore" I cannot believe I didn't do it until today:

The old CPU was so heavy! And sat in a tight space. Getting at the back-- yyyrrrcchhhh! Well, today I moved the 4-port USB hub from the front of the new CPU to the back, which allowed me to hook up the second of my 2 external HDs. And viola! All my bookmarks, email addresses, etc. etc. ....... The ext HDs now sit on top of the CPU, clearing a spot they had been taking up that needs a new printer put there, and keeping me from cluttering up the CPU top. Of course the hub has 2 slots still open, and peeks out accessibly from between the 2 HDs. And I have better access now to the two front USB slots. The new CPU is a featherweight, and the HDs are even the same flat black housing!


Hardi spotted a VERY nice, tall (used) TV cabinet last Friday that has swallowed almost all the VHS tapes clutting the DR, and still has a nice drawer for the few DVDs we have. Yesterday we moved the DVR and DVD/VHS player to that cabinet too; that sent the former TV base-table to the DR where it awaits further decor/practicalities. Now we just need a wooden box to house the DVR.
