I realized this morning that I hadn't emptied out a folder where I stick bills for quite a while. I pay all of them online, so when the paper version comes (some send a notice via email, others I still get on paper) I stuff it in this file and it was getting fat. I paid current bills then filed everything, including the past bills that were already paid. I have a 12-pocket expanding file that I've started using. Everything goes in the month it was paid and only a few documents go in the file cabinet (insurance documents, tax deductible documents, etc.)

Shredded a lot, put a lot in the recycle bin.

Frost alert for Saturday morning, so I'll go pick all of the big eggplant and get a blanket out to put over the top of the plants to keep the rest of them from freezing. Do carrots and onions freeze? Oregano? Peppers? Maybe I'll cover them all. A plastic tarp might be enough.
