I always try to make my drives efficient, and even if gas has dropped $1 a gallon in the last 12 days, I still need to be careful. I drove a loop of 10 miles this afternoon and got gas, dropped off a box at the post office (when that scanner is repaired I'll be busy converting my slides to digital images), dropped of recycling (our village doesn't collect recyclables but Fort Worth, that surrounds us, does), dropped off Goodwill stuff, ran by a couple of stores for groceries (olive oil has gone way up!), and had a feeling of accomplishment when I got home. That scanner is a long story, but now that it has been shipped, I can relax a little. I needed to send it out for repair during the warranty period, and I've accomplished that.

I picked a dozen eggplants in the garden, with a lot of smaller ones still on the plants; we may have frost tonight. That garden is near the house so it might not be affected, but I have a tarp to go put over the plants before I go to bed.

eBay is perking along. I recently listed a couple of things that have watchers; one of them I listed very low (.99) and have had 1 in 10 of viewers click on "watch this auction" though no one has bid yet; everyone bids last, no one wants to bid first, but hopefully there will be enough bidding to take it up to where I want it to sell.
