Well, we surprised ourselves this morning. Slept in a bit, got up, not feeling rushed at all. Had breakfast, made a grocery list, checked email, etc. After, I asked Rog what he wanted to do first. It was still chilly outside (it was supposed to be an outside work day) so we took the air conditioned out of our bedroom window from inside, put in the storm window, then Rog took it out to the shed. After I told him sometime I really wanted him to take down the living room blinds. They are old Hunter Douglas metal Venetian blind and were filthy with dust and dirt caked on. Well, lo and behold, he took them down, I washed them in the shower and kitchen sink; one is about 4.5' wide with two shorter ones to the side, about 20" wide. They looked so much cleaner, I had to wash the windows! Didn't do them outside, but they already look better. In between all of that, he sliced me up a bunch more tomatoes on his special, electric deli slicer and I dried 5 more racks. They really reduce down. I only got 3 freezer bags from that batch and i didn't even fill the bags, but I know they are going to taste so good this winter and I won't use but a couple each time probably.

We then went to the shoe store and grocery store, brought all of the groceries home and put them away. All in all it felt like a very productive day!
