Subject: RE: BS: October Seasonal de-clutter BIG push
The really lovely thing about Freecycle (if you run IT instead of letting it run you) is that you can FC OUT what has become clutter, and FC IN what you need. When it becomes clutter, you can OUT it right back out again. (It doesn't ever have to feel permanent unless you seriously adopt it.)

This has been a particularly good FC week. IN with a couple dozen 5-gal plastic pots (landscaper type), and a chainlink fence-set I'll pick up tomorrow. OUT with a ski exerciser replaced with a better one. I could never have afforded the pots, the fencing, or the ski machine. We CAN afford the dirt, the seeds, a litle fence hardware, and the electricitry to run and heat the ski-er. And the gas to go fetch.

Tomorrow's trip to get the fencing will be a fun ride for Sadie (pets fav things-type) through bootiful fall foliage-- scenery I know well but seldom get to see. A good long ride, with car tunes.

The chain link will become the new dog world, and the fencing now in place will become a long, horizontal trellis for a privacy screen to create the new, private back yard. I plan to plant tomatoes and peas that will climb the old fence material, and we'll eat the fence when it's ripe and when it's too cold to go sit in the yard anyhow. :~) I'll have to go out in the new, private backyard thus formed, regularly, to water the fence. Poor me! :~) We'll pop up our camper back there, too, for midweek sleepouts. Hardi's mom may come stay over, too, in the summer.

Yes, life is miserable! :~)
