Hi Mom,

Just got back from a trip to West Virginia to see the folks. It was a bee-you-tee-ous drive home through the mountains of West Virginia and Virginia. Blue sky, cool weather, the trees at their fall peak in the higher elevations, and every stage of getting to their peak on the way up into the mointains and then back down again to the Peidmont. Every shade there is between wine red and yellow.

There be lots of species of poppies. Pretty flowers are ever legit in a gardener's garden.
