My son this morning happily took one of my mangled cardboard boxes (had meant to use it for eBay shipping but it was too big, so it was in the garage). He is building a mask--don't ask me what kind, I don't know, but I think it is intended the scare the bejeesus out of little kids on Halloween. I keep telling him he's not to go trick-or-treating, so he keeps his plans close to his vest (Friday nights he spends at his Dad's house, and Dad is less strict, but he's 6'2", 16, and he needs to do something other than scare kids on the street. Plus big kids out there can become targets of other big kids.)

I've been working in the yard some this weekend, but I've also whittled away several stacks of stuff in the house. I'll keep at that this week, I think. If I can haul a few buckets of rocks a day up from the creek then I can finish this part of the path this week.

Shipping an eBay box today. What are people planning to do with these little televisions that will be obsolete come February? There is still a good market for them out there. They must be adapted for something else. It's amazing what you can sell on eBay, based on the interesting things people are doing in their spare time or as a way to support themselves. That is one thing I like about it--if you can figure out how to describe it clearly, the chances are good someone else wants it.
