Earlier this year I bought a set of new gaskets for my Osterizer blender (from the 1970s or 80s) on eBay for about $1 a piece. Three of them will last a couple of lifetimes. What kind of blender so you have, what does the gasket measure? I got the blender at a garage sale and use it for making baba ganoush and hummus, etc. It doesn't get used often, but it is exactly the right tool for those dishes.

After I bought them, someone told me that Wal-mart probably also has them. Oh, well.
