We both know it's all smoke and mirrors, and because the fundamentalist capitalist ideologues decided to run it into the ground, people want to get back out of it what they put into it. It is now, and has always been nothing more than an colossal ponzi scheme, and none of the people who were playing in it want to be among the ones who end up being the chumps.
