First real frost last night, so the last of the basil is gone. Tomatoes went last week.

My SAD light arrived yesterday but I won't have time to assemble it until next weekend. Some scary story commitments for this week.

I TRIED Wal-Mart for the gasket, Kat; and Home Depot, and Shop-Ko, and even Rex. Ths town is just too small. Nobody stocks them because there is not, they say, enough call. I do not know what brand my blender is; it actually does not say on it. I was carrying wround the old (gummy) gasket to match it. I'll have to take it to Portland with me in 2 weeks to try again.

Outside kittens (not really kittens anymore) are wanting IN. Not quite ready to do that to Scamp yet, plus they are still not very tame. I'll fix up a box for them on the patio.

Spaymobile will be about 10 miles away next week; I'll try to get the 2 females over then.
