There's a bluegrass festival this weekend, June 30-July 2, 2000 in Essex Junction (just outside Burlington) at the Champlain Valley Expo fairgrounds. We've been to it a couple of times, and it's real nice but real far for us.

It's called "Vermont's Bluegrass Family Festival" and will feature J.D. Crowe, Northern Lights, Lonesome River Band, and many others. For information, call (802)827-6640 or DCahill@together.net.

The University of Vermont is there, and downtown has a few clubs and trendy little sidewalk cafes, so I expect you'll find some music!
