My thoughts on tomorrows revolutionary elections, congratulations to Obama, to you, to our country & to the world, we deserve it.



The 2nd American Revolution Will Be televised

Yes the 2nd American Revolution will be televised
Just not as suspected, it will not be violent
It will start with the dawn's early rising & will end after the rising of the Moon.
The last Poets will be courting Heron* & the Panthers will be wondering what took so long.
It will be over in a flash before it really even gets started
It will happen before your eyes & the lame duck will be forgotten but not forgiven
Hope will open its arms & its arms will cease to bare, there'll be no thunder from the throne only a calming wind at all our backs blowing in from the East to the West.
The long anticipated revolution will herald in tears of joy & help heel the wounds of wars lost & long forgotten, for maybe now soldier & student can lie down side by side
In the grave landscape of marbled stoned foundations
Maybe now the house divided can fall & ruin in anticipation of the long awaited proclamation & the sought after restoration of the North & South & with the East & West and the walls will coming tumbling down, not like in Berlin but in Bagdad & Jericho & along the Mason Dixon & the Mississippi & the Rockies
The 2nd revolution will come in like a lamb riding & march to the crest of a title wave & will take its sweet time going out past Geneva & Kato & Ginsberg will Howl.
The 2nd revolution will shift the burning sands of Africa's yearning shores & give AID to the shores of Tripoli & the Barbary Coast will be safe at last & pirates will no longer ring the bell on Wall Street as a warning shot.
The 2nd revolution will end the extreme renditioning of Cuba's shores for sure & there'll be no more waterboarding along the beach-heads, ocean fronts & sand-dunes.
This time the revolution will be intelligent & healthy & everything will be beautiful, in the morning & from the Halls of Harvard to the Hills of Walter Reed & health will care.
When the revolution starts reigning the only shelter from the storm will not be found in the hollowed streets of Corporate America, not in the out sourced off shored accounts of Habeas Corpus & rights of way it'll be found in the lost acts of the true Patriots and no flags will be flown or waving ambers of strange fruit rotting from trees
When the revolution is realized there'll be no government on horseback & no running down streets with pardon in hand for the World Court to ride rough shod over, there'll be no swift sword of judgment from a Supreme Court on High to echo a willing list to port of the "just-us" scales,
there'll be no gospel ship hoving into view, there'll just be nowhere to run
By the time the first shot of this revolution's heard the hearings will be forgotten & the climate will have changed, the smog will have lifted, man & animal will breath a sigh of relief & forget fear
Before the first shot's fired it'll be heard round the world & in that minute men everywhere & in Lexington will rest their arms back by their sides & sleep long knowing all is well with the world again & the sons & the daughters of the 1st revolution will weep knowing their father's will, will not be broken only tried & they will try those that disturbed the peace.
When this 2nd revolution is seen for what it is, it'll be ghosted by ghouls & good spirits alike but they won't have a say, they won't even preach or boo hoo, they will dwell in the well defined dwellings that spawned them & will be extremely & fanatically appeased at their appropriate chambers of churches & commerce.
By the time the 2nd American Revolution is over I pray my grandchildren's grandchildren are history, after all it was half a century in coming and a hundred years & four score & seven in the planting & pruning
Tomorrow the 2nd American Revolution will be televised, it'll come to you this time by air & net, not land or sea, this time it'll come to you in the dead of night & dawn of day not by Dawes or Revere riding & you will not be dead,
there'll be no signing or sighing, there will be singing, the bells will be breaking the day, sounding in the new deal, ringing in tone & time, bringing in an era of reason, reach, rhyme & rhythm. There will be no blackout or backout this time.
