I'm sure I read somewhere that the surviving brothers from Mama's Boys formed Celtus who became reasonably popular with their "celtic" rock. Another pretty decent band in that vein are Dare formed by ex Thin Lizzy (now there's a band with the odd folk moment) keyboard player Darren Wharton.

I quite like The Clan Destined, Mr Bridge, but then I also like Leo Sayer so I'm no flag bearer for good taste!
