A Tribute to Bert 15 Nov 2008

The English Folk Dance and Song Society hosts an all day event celebrating the centenary birth year of renowned English singer, folklorist, journalist and writer A.L.(Bert) Lloyd.

Concert guests include: Alistair Anderson, Frankie Armstrong, Martin Carthy, Bob Davenport with Roger Digby, Will Duke, Dan Quinn and Alex West, Louis Killen, Maddy Prior, Dessislava Stefanova, Dave Swarbrick, Norma Waterson, Martyn Wyndham-Read with Iris Bishop, Lisa Knapp and Sam Lee
All proceeds to benefit the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library

Doors open 12 noon

MADDY PRIOR IN CONVERSATION 13.00
What the Folk? Lectures in the folk arts kicks off the A Tribute to Bert day with Maddy Prior in conversation with Peta Webb.
Please note: FREE entry to Saturday Music Workshop students and A Tribute to Bert ticket holders on a first come-first served basis (space in Storrow is limited)
