Thread Name: Who should I be booking?
Subject: RE: Who should I be booking?
Paul - they are excellent live. I'm particularly partial to their version of Bird on the Wire which isn't on a CD; Northern Tide is one of my favourite songs; and Sweet Minerva and and and...

I have a CD somewhere that I recorded when they came to visit us in Flaxton (with Linda and Hazel's ok which Hazel has a copy of) - PM Hazel or Linda if it's ok with them to send some samples I can pop them on some webspace or get you a copy.

If you still have any space over the weekend at your bash I might pop up at some point for a sing as there are a fair number of people I know there and could perhaps give you a copy. Perhaps you could PM me?

Bit of luck they may do Both Sides of the Tweed now. I went to Hazel's birthday last year and she sang it with her sister (and Linda) and the rest of the pub and it was lovely.

This is not a Hissyfit performance but it is Linda and Hazel singing at Hazels birthday in a pub in Beverley. Noisy and not a good recording but gives a slight idea. It's been posted on mudcat before so they hopefully won't mind. Don't make a negative decision on it but it gives an idea!
