Nice to hear about all the progress. I'm organizing the holiday decorations-- the staging area is in the upstairs hallway-- so I'll be able to "hit the ground running" next week. I'll put up the tree after Thanksgiving, but I'll need to clean the LR floor and move some furniture. I think I'll move the work computer and the printer into the spare room upstairs.
My cousin invited me for Thanksgiving dinner with her daughter/SIL & 2 grandchildren, so that should be fun. I won't have to cook.
On Tuesday, I mustered up my courage & did an open mic. Scared out of my wits, because I haven't done any solo vocals in years, and I'm not much of a guitar player. Turned out okay I guess; folks seemed to like it. There were a lot of folks there to perform, and a lot of really good musicians, so it was pretty intimidating. Gotta learn (at least refresh) 4 more songs before I go back again, probably the week after next.
