Sins is right you know. Your blood sugar may be elevated due to an infection or if you are sick (woozy and so forth DOES make your blood sugar rise). So do other prescription and non-presctiption meds. What was your glucose reading? Did they do an A1C blood test to see what your average glucose has been over the past 3 months? They say that 80 to 120 is a *normal* reading. Some folks run slightly higher.

About your trip to the dietician.....they tend to be ultra strict with exchanges and all that. While it's good information and a good start, know that you won't (most likely) need to be THAT strict with yourself.

Do you know anyone who is diabetic and would loan you their glucose testing kit (finger sticks) for a week or so? You could check your own fasting glucose levels each morning to maybe give a bit more peace of mind.

I'm glad Sins brought that up.....maybe it's a glitch, no?
