good grief!....the things we can get upset about!....if one is talking about a contract, or explaining about someone's birthday, it CAN be confusing, and it makes sense to NAME the month..i.e. MAY 6, even if you continue doing mm/dd/yy or whatever... at other times, but in here...planning a HearMe session, it really is NOT hard to guess what month is being referred to, even if folks don't do it to YOUR standard! I am in the US, but if I were to vote, I guess I see the point about using one universal standard now that the WWW is so common..(we need to move to decimal measure, too, but just try to get THAT through the US congress!)....but I'm willing to do it, and do dd/mm/yy, too.....now...will you Brits start driving on the RIGHT side of the road, like most of the rest of the world?..*grin*
