July 1 our family hightailed it out of Toronto for a BBQ in Barrie, followed by fireworks put on by the city of Barrie at Kampenfeldt Bay. It was so different from Wonderland or Ontario Place fireworks events....it wasn't crowded, and nobody was trying to SELL anything at this one!

Canada, 133 years young....
