Thanks to the "computer from hell", I'm only now really back on line to comment on the really fun weekend we had.

It's always a blast to be at a folk event and suddenly realize that the person net to me is a fellow mudcatter.... at a past Mystic Sea Music festival it turned out that three quarters of the gang sitting there at the Seaman's Inn were all mudcatters.

Since I had volunteer duties, I didn't get as much time to spend with the mudcat gathering as I would have liked - but what I did get to share was fun and we got to share songs and stories.

This is a hidden gem of a festival and Mike & I drive in from western New York to partake of the varied workshops and concerts. This year we stayed with friends who live near the school were it was held and that was a real boon. Carpooling is definitely the way to go, given the need to find a parking space.

I hope we can arrange another get together next year.
