Subject: RE: Mudcat Gathering at Eisteddfod-NY
Eisteddfod was indeed a wonderful festival this year. I have been to all of them since they started in New York, and this was the best for me. I felt the glow for days after it.

It is hard to find a time and place that's good for everyone. The first few years it was at Brooklyn Polytech in the summer. Jackson Heights in Queens at the Renaissance School in November is much better. I feel we have been building up an audience there. The Friday night concert audience may have been small, but Saturday night was much better attended. Many local people came for part of the festival. I'd like to see us build more of an audience of people who live in New York. And if more people from out of town can overcome their fear of the Big City, I think they'd find that Jackson Heights is easier to get to than they think. There is a parking garage a block from the festival which cost me only around $25 for all of Saturday (cheap by New York standards) and on Sunday it was easy to park on the street for free.

Hope to see more of you next year.
