I think he wants a little 'family project'. Ideally he would have liked to buy a little bit of coppiced woodland. But it turns out that the 'spare change' needed for him to do that simply isn't available.

Pigs are nice. I also dig goats and have thought a few of those might be good to rear, for milk and slaughter.

I also really like unusual plants and herbs... So there may be scope for further thought and research there.

Of course I could always bung a Tipi or two on it, invite the Mudcat and terrify the local landowners into thinking that 'undesirables' are moving in... ;-)
