Thread Name: Song Challenge! Part 32
Subject: RE: SONG CHALLENGE! Part 32
The beautiful mermaid sat out on the rock
Way out in the Lyse fjord
And waved to all the tourists in boats
(Who had been getting bjored)

She was only a part-time mermaid
And her tail was a recent addition
But her alternate roles as a mother and nurse
Left her filled with a burning ambition

The climate's not ideal for mermaids you know
Way out midst the waves and the ripples
When the wind blows your wig, it's a hell of a gig
And the salt spray plays hell with your nipples

So here's to the mermaid, fair Line by name
And pity the drunkard who views her
They've lost it, (they'll think)
And swear off the drink
And never return to the boozer.

Can't think of a tune... help yersels
