Thread Name: Arlo Guthrie - worth seeing these days?
Subject: RE: Arlo Guthrie - worth seeing these days?
I second Ron and Dani and Nancy and..........

Listen, Arlo may well be, and for my money is, at the top of his form. He's a far better everything in his 60's than he was in his 20's. I can't think of anyone I'd rather go spend my money to see than Arlo.

Yeah, I've always loved him and so has Karen but as he has aged is is indeed the fine wine. If he's coming where you are or anyways near close be sure you go if you can. You'll not regret it! Generally when I say something like that I always worry that the person will go and it will be a bad night. In the case of Arlo I have no fear that will happen. His worst night will still be good. Like Ron said, he's been at this for a long time, often up close and personal with his audience, and at this point he might well be in his own home and you've dropped by......he's that comfortable......and you will be too.

Go see him!
