so far over the last couple days most of the usual winter suspects have made an appearance:

red breasted nuthatch
lots of juncos
song sparrows
english sparrows
chickadees -- chestnut backed and black capped
house finches
bush tits
the usual crows, scrub jays and starlings
robins
a flock of cedar waxwings
flicker
and one cooper's hawk in the apple tree right above one of the feeders in our urban backyard in portland, oregon.
