From my own experience and that of others I know, I think almost anyone having one is up most of the night before...on the porcelain throne, but I didn't have any problems after and I was surprised at how quickly it was done and the lack of feeling anything untoward. I know it was because I had a light sedative, etc., but they were being careful with that because of the chf, so I wasn't totally out of it. The night before and anticipation were much worse than the actual procedure.:-)
