Thread Name: what is this song?

Davy Jones was the Brit and was in a very long running soap called Coronation Street, and very cute..... hot flash there, oooohh!)

Mike Nesmith was the serious one in a knitted cap, his mum invented white-out (Tippex, Snopake, whatever brand name). He went on to have a solo hit with 'Travel to Rio'.

Peter Tork was the goofy blonde one that no-one really liked, and the fourth was Mickey Dolenz; he was the only one who was a musician beforehand. He's the one with a face like a happy monkey, and is now stinking rich (!) after making a career out of being Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees.....

Here we come,
Walk down the street
Get the funniest looks from
Everyone we meet

Hey, hey, we're the Monkees, people say we monkey around,
But we're too busy singing, to put anybody down.

There is a lot more, but I'm too knackered to type it all out. Just go into any record store and ask for 'The Best of the Monkees' - they did some merde chaude stuff, like 'Daydream Believer', 'Last train to Clarkesville' and 'Valerie'.

LTS who isn't really that sad, no.....
