The trouble with de-cluttering is, it's a self replicating task. You clear one area, only to have to fill it again with stuff from another area. That sewing table I found about three threads back? Full of stuff from the living room. The living room? Full of stuff from the hall. The hall is in a state of flux because I'm dragging huge bags of leaf mulch, tree branches and shrubbery through it in the process of decluttering the garden. Spring is on the way (judging by the amount of bulbs already showing) so that will soon all grow back and need trimming again, but I'll have to move the stuff in the front garden to make room for the new clippings.....

Still, I'm getting lots of excercise and fresh air, my garden looks better than it has for a while and I may even find room for a few new plants! I bought them anyway, I'm a sucker for the poor, bedraggled 'didn't quite make it through the dry spell but might perk up with a bit of attention' bargain packs at the garden centre....
