As for the article it could equally well have been published elsewhere - even in the Daily Telegraph, which I often use as a source here to head-off that kind of comment. But where a comment piece appears isn't really the point. The point is, do people agree with Simon Jenkins' view that aerial bombardment of this kind - whoever does it, Hamas or Israel or anyone else - should join "chemical munitions, white phosphorous, cluster bombs and delayed-action land mines" as weapons the use of which should now be recognised as a war crime?
