One more time (in case anybody is listening): less than 3% of Saddam Hussein's weapons were of US manufacture, and it is doubtful that even one item that found its way to Iraq was authorized. Illegal arms dealers and a few questionable transactons from Argentina (and even Israel) put a few items in Saddam's arsenal. As much as 95% came from the Soviet Union.

Also, the idea that George W. Bush linked al-Qaeda to the Sept. 11 atrocity was (drum roll) The New York Times. When asked what al-Qaeda had to do with that event Bush said: "nothing!".
