Yes, I can see that these threads have been a great avenue for discussing what we'd like to do as well as what we have done. It has really been a sustained kind of motivation for me.

I called the docs and the pharmacy, today, and got the year end spending reports (shocking... I knew we spent a lot on copays, but almost $2,000 for meds seems horrible!) so I can do our taxes. I don't think it will be by the end of the month, but close to it. For the past two years I have itemised and we've gotten more back. I should go back, sometime and file an amended return for the year of my surgery. We spent a lot that year.
