Well Martin, that you can be sure of. Because I can never think of anything to eat them with... Which is a shame because they might be great additions to some recipes. Especially veggie recipes, which often require that something extra flavouring wise.

So far I've googled the ideas of

i) adding chutney to veggie curry (in it as an ingredient)
ii) adding chutney to boston baked beans
iii) adding chutney to casseroles

I also make a really good potato and cheese pie, which chutney would definitely work well with.

I also reckon I might dabble in some wintery savoury pasties, with potato or beans, cheese and chutney.

I'm sure other people must get gifts of lovingly made chutney in Xmas hampers and never know what to do with the stuff.. I want to stop wasting it!
