To suggest that the French are more racist than the English or the Americans etc etc (the list would stretch round the world is not sensible and it's not fair. Just remember how musicians like Sidney Bechet moved to France to escape the racism back home.

All countries have racists, and all countries have people who hate racism. And getting racist in the cause of anti-racism ("the French are past masters of Chauvinism)is a pretty strange way to go.)
