When I used to play at Pat Troy's Ireland's Own in Alexandria on Sunday evenings, when Valentine's day rolled around I invited folks to a "My Bloody Valentine" evening where we strove to outdo ourselves with horrific love gone wrong ballads and songs - think "Omie Wise", "Pretty Polly", "Young Hunting" etc. We had a great time!
