The art of presenting dudgeon as a form of apology, by the way, is a little-noted skill in public relations often used by Republicans. I remark on this simply in order to tag yet another piece of evidence in my growing file of evidence that Rapaire, under his mild-mannered bookish exterior, is a Republican at heart.
