" The Right had plenty of suggestions; they were beat back in the spirit of Obama's new bi-partisanship (ie. my way or the highway.)

Obama tried..and is STILL trying.. to listen and be bi-partisan, but conservatives are proving the old saw "give 'em an inch and they'll take a mile." They have some confused notion that the only way to show you are bi-partisan is to do it all their way! They made little or no effort to take Democratic suggesions for 8 years, but now they say they will drag their muddy feet and vote down every plan unless they get to put in the same ideas that **CAUSED** this mess!

What part of "we won, so we get to try a different path" do you not understand?
