Um. Little Hawk, I'm with hg here. Many a woman marries a man who turns out seriously flawed whether as a violent person or a cheater at taxes or a paedophile.

But if she is facing it clearly seldom has a woman NOT known beforehand that he was not kosher, so to speak. She may not know how very bent he is but in my opinion she knows he is bent.

Maybe it goes back to what Bill D said about the woman planning to "change" him.    But trust me: She knows.
