They're also quite capable of just leaving passengers stranded without being too worried about getting them back any time soon. My friend's brother got stuck in Germany, and they both vow never to fly RA again. Mother of a student of mine paid for a round-trip ticket from Cork to London, THEY cancelled the flight on short notice (not enough seats sold?) and she only found out about this after she travelled out to the airport. She had to really fight (and wait for ages) to get a refund - a move which SHE had to initiate. They didn't offer or even mention anything about refunds. And the lost flight made her miss an important appointment in London which cost her a job. RA really truly do not seem to care about the needs of their customers. (Now ex-customers.)
