The only problem with a carefree jaunt by Mini from California to Colorado is that to get there, you have to drive across bloomin' Nevada. Or rather, non-bloomin' Nevada; if it were bloomin', it wouldn't be so bad.

Still, it does sound fun, and Kat tells me there are wineries. Mmmmmm.

Sadly, I can't imagine my menfolk letting me go off on such an adventure without them. Or at least, I can't imagine my 8-year-old manfolk letting me go off an have fun without him, even though my other manfolk would probably be willing to stay home. And three people in a Mini for a road trip can be a bit cramped. Hmmm. I think this dream plan may require a few refinements...
