Pete is one of the good ones. There's something limiting about communicating on a computer screen with these little black squiggly characters we type out. Just as in music, it only occasionally happens when the warmth of a person comes through the screen or out through the apeakers. Miraculously, the person is there despite the inherent limitations of the medium. I've come to know Pete through the kitchen table thread, and I mean KNOW him. I admire his generosity of spirit and his modesty. Perhaps someday I'll get to hear him in person.
