I'm multi-talented. I not only play reels on the fiddle, I also play jigs. But, really, it's a good question, and I do have a wide variety of interests. I sing chanteys, I draw with Rapidograph pen and ink, and I enjoy photography. I've been told I have a photographer's eye and take good pictures, though my camera does alot of things automatically, so I don't know anything about settings on cameras. I occasionally have sea music gigs, fiddle playing gigs. Many people I know who are musical have other creative interests and talents. I think there is a connection, yes.
