Lenny, I think some people responded to it because sexual identity is important to some people, just as many people responded to Kat's thread on ethnic background, because it was an interesting question and the answers reveal something about who we are and where we came from. If you really wanted to do an experiment and try and make us look ridiculous, you could have chosen another question. But why bother? It really doesn't prove anything of any value, it exploits people's natural curiosity and willingness to respond and share their thoughts and life experiences, and makes you look like a mean-spirited jerk in the process. You can do better than that, if you're really interested in what this dsite has to offer.
