Seriously, Bob, your first - and doable - project should be to notate on the back of each photo the identies, approximate year, and the significance. I finally got it done and have felt virtuous ever since. :)

I'll have to do some thinkin' as to what I really, truly want to do and realisticly expect to accomplish.

Like everyone else I love the Northern Lights. I don't see them as often as I used to - mainly because one has to be outside (in the frequently bitter cold) and I've gotten wimpy. But I have seen them in every month except in June and July; the sky is just too light in those months and even the stars are not visible then.


At night I watch the Northern Lights
Stream across the sky
Silver and gold in ripples and folds
of a purple scarf flung high
Green canopy of the Northern Lights!
Gleaming stars hang nigh
All nourish my soul in the crystal cold
Alone in the Northern Lights
Alone in the Northern LIghts...
