I can't picture an edited PermaThread for something like that, but I do think it's a good idea to post a link in the obituary thread to the person's posts - that's been done in most of the Mudcat obituaries.

Of course, anyone is free to start a memorial thread, if that's what they want to do. If people want to establish an edited PermaThead for information that needs to be managed or updated, they should contact me. You'll find examples of PermaThreads in the PermaThread Index on the Site Map page.
