Bagpuss: I was in a jazz band who wanted to call itself "Funkin Jazz" or "Funk n Jazz". The (seemingly) obvious joke had to be explained to me. When it was explained, I didn't really see the humour. (I thought "Sax and Violence" was better).

Call me square - dunno, "Folkin Band" just doesn't raise much a laugh for me. Nothing to do with the expletive, just not hugely hilarious.
