"It's remarkable to me that anyone has heard of mudcat."

tsk, Max...it's well enough known to be parodied on the other side of the pond.

What may be hard to fathom is how very important Mudcat has become. Hosting the database used to be the major value, but as well-known musicians and scholars dropped by, as well as NOT so well known folks who became known, the forum has become an **International Recource**..... yep.... all those years living on junky computers in your basement, and folks all over the world were depending on THIS for much of their connections to the folk-universe!

(awwww....c'mon....you knew that!)
